Why does the theory seem to work?
My university based research on a total of 67 women (including those from NHS and private fertility treatment clinics) with 169
treatments between them, across two studies, has confirmed an association between astrology and treatment outcome, even against such factors as anxiety, depression, reproductive health of the woman and her partner, woman’s age and type of treatment.
Further investigations to refine the astrological conditions that she first discovered in the research for my thesis have now increased the detection rate of treatment successes and failures. My doctoral thesis, which was done over seven years between 2000 and 2006, is called Applications of astrology to health psychology: astrological and psychological factors and fertility treatment outcome.
